If you ever open Cheat Engine official forum, you will see that most of the cheats come in .ct format. CT, or Cheat Table, is file format that can be opened in Cheat Engine. If you are beginner user, you probably try to find and edit all values whenever you start new game [Cheat Engine basic tutorial]. That is why .CT files are used.
If you are beginner user, you will probably just download file that others made, and open it. So let’s learn how to do that.

Open .CT file in Cheat Engine

- Click on Open button, and select .ct file that you want to open. If you have done everything correctly, in the lower part of the Cheat Engine window, you should see something like this.
What now?
In most cases, you will see the values that you can change or freeze (In our example, you could easily change Talents or Orens). In other cases (mostly FPS games), instead of value there will be <script> type (no reload, teleport, or fly-mode). Just click on the box on the left side of this window – box has to be marked with X. And that’s it. If the .ct file don’t work, or some values are incorrect, you probably don’t have right version of cheat tables. Go to step 1 of this tutorial and check again.

- In the Cheat Engine, click on ‘Edit’
- Navigate to the left sidebar and tap ‘Scan Settings’
- Check the box next to the option; ‘MEM_MAPPED: Memory that is mapped into the view of a section. [E.g: File mapping, emulator memory, slow]’. This enables the Cheat Engine to scan Bluestack’s Emulator addresses correctly.
- From the sidebar, choose ‘Extra’
- Ensure that the box next to the option; ‘Read/Write Process Memory [Will cause slower scans]’ is checked to ascertain that you’re browsing the right memory region.
